The Power of Collaboration - Generous Charities Transforming Lives

Welcome to the Vedanta Charitable Foundation’s Charity Friends page. We are proud to highlight the numerous aid agencies, individuals, and community groups who play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide life-saving medical equipment and supplies to those in need.

We are immensely grateful to the private donors who have generously sponsored VCF’s projects in Fiji, other Pacific Islands, and in India. These contributions have helped to fund vital medical equipment, educational programs, and community development initiatives, all of which have made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals. Without your support, our work would not be possible

Our Partners & Friends

Our partners represent a diverse group of organizations, institutions, and supporters who share our mission to advance human values and foster community mindset.

Much of VCF’s success has been through its collaboration with the Ramakrishna (RKM) Mission in Fiji. The global organisation has been dedicated to serving individuals of diverse ethnicities, faiths and backgrounds throughout Fiji since 1937.

Among many community-centred roles, RKM Fiji operates the Sarada Medical Centre, located in Malolo near Nadi. It’s a life-saving facility that offers free, quality healthcare services to the whole community, with focus on the the poor and needy.

The legally recognized non-profit entity also operates a well-respected technical college offering training in agriculture, a secondary school and meditation and worship centre.

Someone Who Cares is an Australian non-profit organization with a mission to assist individuals and communities in need, both locally and globally.

Through sourcing and collecting new, reused, recycled, and repurposed goods, Someone Who Cares works closely with communities in need to provide essential items. Its vision is to prevent these useful goods from going to waste in Australian landfills and instead repurpose them to provide aid to struggling communities.

The Vedanta Charitable Foundation and Vedanta Centre NZ maintain a collaborative relationship focused on wellbeing and humanitarian service. The Foundation supports Vedanta Centre NZ—especially its programs for mental wellbeing and spiritual development—by facilitating resources, fostering community partnerships, and amplifying outreach efforts. In turn, this partnership enables Vedanta Centre NZ to deliver meditation-based wellness services and educational initiatives to local and regional communities, while the Foundation’s support helps scale impact, sustain charitable programs, and realize shared goals in holistic health and social welfare.

In 2010, a group of former Fiji residents who now live in Australia founded Serve Fiji Foundation Inc (SFF). These individuals are passionate about enhancing the welfare of underprivileged and impoverished individuals in Fiji.

SFF’s mission is to support the charitable services of the Ramakrishna Mission Fiji, a Registered Charitable Trust in Fiji, particularly in the areas of Medical Services, Education, and Relief Services. By collaborating with this organization, SFF hopes to make a positive impact on the people of Fiji.
